Job Description
Tidewater Robotics needs a Director of Engineering to build and scale a team through our next growth phase. This is a hands-on leadership role -- you will still review architecture, not just attend meetings about it.
Requirements
12+ years in engineering, at least 5 in a leadership roleExperience scaling an engineering team through a major growth phaseComfortable being hands-on with architecture when it matters
Responsibilities
Build and lead an engineering organization of 15-30 peopleOwn hiring strategy and interview process for the engineering orgPartner with the executive team on technical strategy and resourcingEstablish engineering processes that scale without becoming bureaucracy
